Pumps
The pump will control
the water’s turnover rate and the size of pump
that you require depends entirely on the capacity
of your pool.
It is advisable to have your pump installed professionally.
Skimmers
Skimmers remove any surface
pollution, such as leaves etc., keeping the pool clean
and free from debris.
The water from the surface of the pool flows into
the skimmer, and then onto the pump.
There is usually a leaf/debris basket within the skimmer
which also allows chlorine dosing, when used in conjunction
with Chlorine Tablets. The tablet is simply placed
in the skimmer basket.
Sumps
The majority of below ground pools will be fitted
with a “sump drain” that will take the
water at the bottom of the pool directly into the
circulation system.
